Belgian Excellence Pellets These pellets are made from untreated raw materials and are completely CO2 neutral . They are made of natural wood without chemical binders; their hardness is obtained by compressing the components of the wood, such as lignite, under very high pressure in order to obtain a resistant pellet that does not disintegrate. Produced in Vielsalm, they are sold in 15-kilo bags . The pellets are sold according to the DIN plus and EN plus standards to guarantee consistent quality. This German reference standard is the most demanding for pellets, it results from the combination of 2 standards: the German standard DIN 51731 and the Austrian standard ONORM M 7135 .
